I am filled with so much joy, passion, love, inspiration and motivation after an incredible 12-day training to be a yoga teacher through the 200hr Baptiste Institute-Expand Your Power Teacher Training with Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi, Kenya. There was 123 people from 19 different countries to come together and learn about themselves, one another and the tools to teach Baptiste Power Yoga to become global-wellbeing leaders in their communities. . I am now in the practice of COMMUNITY, COMMITMENT, CREATIVITY and CONSISTENCY. Through physical (asanas) practice, meditation and self-inquiry, I have been transformed and invigorated to remove the rocks in my path holding me back and to tap into my power and potential; to be in the practice of the best I can be, and to support others around me. . . Tomorrow, I will be moving this energy forward by teaching my first full outreach yoga class to primary school children in rural Tanzania. Yoga has the power to transform lives and should be accessible to all. . . I want to thank all the fellow participants, the assistants and head yoga teacher, Catherine Njeri for contributing such a big part to the experience.💗Asanteni sana .
